I’m Diana and I’m currently very close to my PPL(A) checkride which will make me the first pilot in my family as far as we know. I couldn’t be more grateful for the support the people in my life have shown me. I wouldn’t have come this far without them.

Flying has always been my biggest dream and no matter how many times I reach the sky, the feeling I get is so unbelievably amazing that I don’t even know how to put it into words but I think everyone here knows what I mean.

My plan is to continue training, fly commercially one day and meet many many interesting, inspiring and fun people along the way.

I took this picture very recently during my first solo cross country flight. I had just landed at EDQC and wanted to take a 5 minute breather to escape the summer heat before returning home (I’m sadly not a summer person), so I taxied to my assigned parking spot and couldn’t believe my eyes. I had seen the castle during approach already but being able to simply relax in the calming wind while appreciating the beautiful view only added to the incredible experience. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
