My name is Krishitha, and I’m an undergraduate student currently completing my dissertation on the internal and external factors affecting women’s advancement in aviation. My research focuses specifically on female student pilots and qualified pilots in the UK.
I’m looking to speak with women who are currently in pilot training or flying professionally, to better understand their experiences of training, career progression, and the factors that have supported or challenged their advancement within the industry.
Participation would involve a confidential, one-to-one interview lasting around 30–45 minutes, conducted online at a time that suits you. All responses will be anonymised and used solely for academic purposes as part of my undergraduate dissertation. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you’re free to withdraw at any time.
I will be conducting this in February 2026 so please contact me before that.
